Urban Decay Perversion Cream Eyeliner Review Swatches Photos

I wonder what was the hype of Urban Decay Perversion Cream Eyeliner was. I fall in trap so quickly and picked that up. My most of my purchases are online after reading endless reviews. This time my homework was not done properly. Now when I read reviews on MUA, I see most of the people complaining and I realised that it is no different with me.

Urban Decay Perversion Cream Eye Liner

Shade – PERVERSION gel liner like its pencil version is intense jet black shade with no shimmer or glitter, but soft satiny sheen which looks more velvety in swatches.

Packaging – It comes in cute little glass pot with metallic lid. The moment I saw it I was like “WOW”, but that’s it, after that there was no such “WOW” moments. There is no brush that comes in but I want to add that Urban Decay is cruelty free brand. I truly love their eye liners and eye shadows a hell lot!

Texture & Formula – The texture is as hard as you can imagine and it is difficult to get Perversion Cream Eyeliner in liner brush.  I have used this with synthetic brush for using as a base for Smokey eyes and with little efforts it came. I even tried to wet this gel liner with softener from INGLOT but nothing happened.

Pigmentation – It is nicely pigmented and is opaque in single layer, on eyes when I used it all over there was no need of layering, it is BLACK.

????????

Staying Power – I used this as a base for Smokey eyes and it stayed whole day without fading or smudging. I’m looking forward to use it that way in come days too. It makes the eye shadow stay longer without creasing it is waterproof so as expected the quality is good .

Overall Thoughts

I’m wondering why am I giving even 2 marks to this horrible product , guess am in love with metallic packaging and the staying power. Urban Decay Perversion Cream Eyeliner can be used as good base for Smokey eyes and that’s it .

Rating – 2/5

Thanks for the honest opinion Shalini.. Though the pigmentation looks awesome, but since the texture is not right, we need more efforts for application which is a sure no no for me.
