L’Oreal is one of the brands that keep on coming up with new products every other month. The brand has recently launched Infallible Pro Matte Foundation which is a part of Infallible range , known for long wearing makeup products. Now the name clearly says “Pro Matte” but i still picked it just to check the coverage and feel.
Introducing the new L’Oreal Paris Infalliable ProMatte Foundation for a briliant base. With all the comfort and none of the shine, this foundation will offer perfect coverage by gliding and fusing right on the skin. Enriched with perlite technology, this air-light foundation reduces the appearance of shine upto 24 hours and the absorbing mineral micro sponges help to absorb excess oil. Get this one for a demi-matte finish and for a smooth and clear complexion sans imperfections.
Shades – There are 10 shades in L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte range which is amazing ! During my visit to the store I was matched to Caramel Beige 108 because the shade next to it looked quite dark. The shade looked alright and has nice yellow tone to it. However upon application it looked half a shade light and ashy on the uneven toned areas on my face. This shade would be suitable for NC40-42.
Texture & Formula – The brand calls the formula – demi matte which means it isn’t flat matte and suitable for oily combination skin. The texture is light and blendable. I liked how it doesn’t feel heavy and is perfect for summers. However if you have dry skin like me , stay away, because it will cling on to the dry patches or highlight dryness on your face.
Coverage – L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation offers medium to buildable coverage. In one layer it will give you medium coverage, camouflaging minor flaws and discolouration. I like how L’Oreal foundations have yellow tone which is suitable for Indian complexion.
Staying Power – Good 7+ hours. I have dry skin so judging it from that angle, don’t know how long does it keep skin mattified or stay on oily skin.
