Make at Home Cinnamon Rose Bath Recipe – Step By Step

Let us make a sweet and spicy bath recipe. After the long hectic week, your body looks for relaxing and rejuvenating over the weekend. This demand is not just for women who get ready every morning and set out to office (or say their respective work places), it is true for every home maker too.

To soothe those aching and sore muscles, all you need is something that is warming, antioxidant, eliminates body toxins, and above all relaxes you and makes you feel better. A hot bath is the quick thought that usually flows in. Here is an easy bath recipe to make your hot bath more enjoyable.

Ingredients For Bath Recipe

Put together few skin ingredients that are stored in your kitchen shelf.

  • 1 spoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 spoon crushed dried rose petals
  • 1 spoon warm coconut oil
  • ½ cup coarse sea salt

What is in the ingredients?

As you know, sea salt is alkaline. Thus eliminates toxins from body making you feel better. It is also a power house of calcium, sodium, potassium, and magnesium. These are highly beneficial for skin’s health.

Cinnamon is a natural skin cleanser with high antibacterial properties. It cleans the skin thoroughly and gives a warming sensation to the body.

Rose is the most popular skin ingredient used in most products. It has anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe your skin and make it calm. With coconut oil in your skin care and bath recipes, you will be able to enjoy baby soft skin. It has that extra moisturizing capacity.

To prepare Cinnamon + Rose Bath Salt

Step 1 – In an iron hand pan warm the coconut oil. You will know when it is sufficiently warm as it spreads its light aroma. The aroma is great for soothing your mood.

Traditionally according to age old practices, oils are warmed in containers/kadais made of iron. This way you infuse the qualities of iron into the oil.

Step 2 – To the warm oil, add cinnamon powder and rose petals and mix all together. Allow it to cool.

Turn your Bath Salt into Bath Scrub.

Not every home has a bath tub. That does not mean you have to ignore this bath recipe.

All you have to do is firstly blend the coarse sea salt to make it fine.

To the powdered salt, add all other ingredients and mix well. Scoop out 2 spoons and use it to gently scrub your body before bath.

Store the rest of the scrub in airtight jar. Make sure you use up the remaining bath recipe within 2 weeks. Since it is all natural and no preservatives/alcohol is added, homemade beauty recipes have no long shelf life.
