Packaging – I got this foundation as I fell in love with the packaging. It comes in a sleek and tiny, twistable case similar to a lipstick, but of course bigger than a lipstick. It is very travel friendly and easy to take in a purse.
Shade – Bobbi brown Foundations are famous for their huge shade range and they come in yellow tones too which is a great thing for Indians. I use golden natural 4.75 which is a bang on match for my yellow toned skin. I am NC40 in MAC.
Texture & Formula – The skin foundation stick has a creamy texture and blends very easily and almost disappears once blended. It gives a beautiful finish to the face after blending. Even though it is a cream foundation stick, it does not melt inside the tube which is a big advantage as usually the foundations that come in tube get messy after few uses.
Coverage – Bobbi Brown Skin foundation stick has medium coverage and can also be layered to cover acne scars. Most of the Bobbi Brown foundations that I have tried do not feel heavy and are not full coverage products and that’s what I like and prefer. I have a combination skin so I set it with a powder but you can skip powder if you like the dewy finish.
Staying Power – It stays for 4-5 hours easily in a hot place like Chennai and I cannot ask for more as it is a light weight foundation and as the name suggests, it gives a second skin look.
Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick is priced at Rs.3700 and available in all Bobbi Brown stores and online at nykaa.com
This is one of my favourite foundations and most used these daty. I love how light weight it feels and I do no sweat with this as it is not heavy. I use my fingers to dab and then a beauty blender sponge to blend it out. The end result is just neat, smooth skin. Do not expect it to give great coverage if you have problematic skin. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick is apt for everyday use and looks very natural in both day time and at nights.
